Listening Discrimination – /ɑ:/ and /ɔ:/

/ɑ:/ as in "cart"   ·   /ɔ:/ as in "caught"

Listen to the word and decide which vowel sound you hear. Choose A for /ɑ:/ or B for /ɔ:/.

Example

"cart" has /ɑ:/ and "caught" has /ɔ:/.
